Another big spot with Gomez up instead of Valbuena

both times because Altuve bunted for no reason. Put the blame where it should be

Bregman has his work cut out for him to save this lineup vs lefties.

The Altuve bunts were head scratchers no doubt. Gomez also shouldn't be in the middle of the order right now especially in front of Valbuena.

neither has hit the ball well today. Both have hit well lately. Valbuena moreso, but I don't have the "vs lefties over the last month" breakdown. I'm not upset about the order

altuve isn't going to bunt just out of the blue. here is a guy that will hit a bottle cap with a stick.

don't know what it is about these a's and devil rays pitchers that bamboozle our lineups.

Hinch may have put Gomez between Correa and Valbuena to get him som better pitches to hit. He's been struggling with the bat recently, no doubt, but he's also made some decent contact. Altuve shouldn't be bunting in almost any circumstance, and Correa hasn't exactly been on fire either lately. Plenty of "blame" to go around.

I just believe in giving yourself the best chance to win. I trust Valbuena in big spots more then I do Gomez and batting him sooner increases likelihood of him coming up with runners on base. Just poor execution all around for the entire team this weekend overall.

He needs to go to Bragg Stockton's baseball camp. Paint some eyeballs on his knees and tie his right arm down.

This offense can be really difficult to watch at times. Will be sad if we waste two of the best starting performances we have received this year.

As bad as it's been in this series with the sorry As, the Rangers are looking worse against a worse team in the Twins. Still frustrating but makes this series a little better to stomach.

Coming into this series I feared a break may kill our momentum, but the break might be coming at the perfect time because it looks like some guys are headed into slumps.
