[Feigen] D'Antoni emerges as front-runner for Rockets job

How can Harden approve this hiring if he is a winner? Maybe Les and Harden are both just losers or Harden has no any power in this hiring.

Funny thing, when the news that Joerger was suddenly available, along with Vogel and JVG, I said "Jeez, with three great candidates, the Rockets can't possibly screw this up and not get a great coach.

And now, Mike D'Antoni. I would have just as soon kept JBB. He has been an abject failure everywhere he has been before (Sean Jones just said this) and just look at the reaction across the NBA.

The NBA may need to create a new rule to replace the Septien rule... call it the Alexander/Morey rule.

 

And was playing Gasol at the 4 when he plays better as the 5, and had old Kobe at the 2, guys like Jodie Meeks, Nick Young, Antawn Jamison, Steve Blake, etc. That roster was awful.

I don't really know if D'Antoni can succeed again as a head coach, but I think his stints in NY and LA were marred by terrible rosters.

 

Honestly guys..... D'Antoni is better than what he had with McHale and Bickerstaff.

Our offense is embarrassing. At least we will know how to easily score baskets.

Defense is all effort, get the players who know what they are doing.

if you don't have the personnel for a certain offense then it doesn't work.

And no defense is not just all effort. There's so many things that go into that side of the ball with develop a good defense and should be just as important as the offensive end.

 

Guess the owner is calling all the shots. Guy sure does have a big ego. He should just promote himself to GM and President instead of paying someone just to be his puppet. Atleast he can save a few bucks. Guess you can't really take a guy seriously when his name sounds like a girl.

 

I'd rather go another year without a coach.

This year we must have set the all-time record for most games in which we allowed 125 points (though there were some terrible Net teams). Add an extra 15 points a game with D'Antoni as coach, and add the fact that opposing teams will always be pumped up to play us because every player will be raising his averages and every team travelling through Texas will mark the Rockets as the game they will win and the Spurs the game they will lose and the Mavericks as the maybe game.

 

I am shocked there are actually 15, or more, yahoos out there that actually like this. Wow...
