none of his teams just gave up like the Rockets did in their last game against the Warriors. Your better off watching the Cavaliers break the NBA record, which happened tonight 25 3pters.

Course coming from a poster that isn't interested in championships - you might want to watch some the NBA playoffs from the Cavs and the Warriors for insight. Harden ain't LMA, your not going to build a Spurs team, aint no other team close to scratching the floor that Cavs Spurs Warriors are standing on, thats the ceiling, so why dont you actually watch some games from teams that are actually contending for a championship instead of stuck in a hole admiring a Rocket squad that GAVE UP in the 3rd Quarter.

I would love D'Antoni as a lead Assistant. Could help implement an offensive system

d'antoni revolutionized the game. sure that was a decade ago, but i would rather have him than JVG. let an assistant coach work out the kinks on defense. this isn't the end of the world.

If you think about it, 3's and layups (Moreyball) actually fits hand in hand with D'antoni's offensive philosophy. What doesn't fit is our roster. It makes no sense to play moreyball or d'antoni offense with our current team. Harden could really fit in the D'antoni system, but no one else can.

That, and we'd still need to improve defense..

D'antoni as coach? Gag! Seriously the guy is done. He doesn't fit with todays nba and is better off coaching the suns again with the amount of pg's they have.

Anyone that was concerned that bringing JVG back would result in scores of 80pts per game or less..., well, here you go...

I think he was way ahead of his time. If you watch the current Warriors and the current Spurs team...they move the ball very well...something Mike D'Antoni did really well with the Suns. Not to mention, I believe Steve Kerr was the GM during his time as the coach. Those Suns teams were really fun to watch. His other teams struggled badly because they were just terrible.

I'm open to have him as a Head coach as long as we have a assistant who can work on the defense or vice versa.

We are officially the sluts of the NBA.. We literally slut ourselves out there after EVERY viable free agent and coach.. That's why Barkley doesn't like our style - we're sluts.

Harden would be the point guard in D'Antoni's system, and no more of a defensive liability than Nash. Also, I like the idea of watching Clint Capela turn into Amare Stoudemire...

I guess you not a fan of defense then. Suns under D'Antoni couldn't stop a nose bleed.

Seems like the exact opposite of what we need. We are free and loose. We need to tighten the screws and get back to basics.
