James refuses to be outshined by Steph. Last year Steph wins MVP, James takes home the Player's MVP. This year Steph looks to lead a team to the best regular season record in NBA history, and James sets all time regular season record for turnovers. He refuses to be out done, and I like it.

You would think he, the team, the coaching staff, would watch film and point that stupid shat out to him.... but no
Fixed version. LY Steph wins MVP, Harden wins Players MVP TY Steph sets the NBA record for wins, TY Harden sets the NBA record for his team not giving a sh** TY Steph sets NBA record for 3PTM, TY Harden sets NBA record for TO
Interesting. A 30-year old Iverson whose team finished 38-44 and out of the playoffs. Iverson had a usage of 35.8%, second highest of his career while playing over 43 minutes a game, and averaged a career high 33 points per game playing alongside a young Iggy and Korver and an older CWebb. Finished 38-44 and out of the playoffs. Jordan's team fared a little bit better. Finished 47-35 and #6 playoff seeding. Upset both Cavs and Knicks (3 and 2 seeds respectively) to get to the Finals before getting knocked out by the Bad Boy Pistons who won the championship. Jordan averaged 32.5 ppg while playing 40.2 minutes per game, Pippen was next highest scorer at 14.4 a game. This was Pippen's second season and Jordan was still the primary playmaker. As the seasons went on Pippen became the primary ball handler/distributor for the Bulls and as his assist numbers climbed so did the Bulls wins, culminating in 6 championships with Pippen basically leading the team in assists until around 1998 when PJax kinda turned the keys over to Kukoc to generate plays. Jordan averaged a gargantuan 8 assists per game in 89. But they ultimately failed until Pippen developed as the primary distributor. Iverson dominated the basketball during the peak of his career except for the few seasons that Larry Brown worked on him and Brown had Eric Snow be the primary distributor. They finally went to the Finals in 2001 and lost to the Lakers but that was the most balanced attack offense AI ever played in. Only problem was when they got to the Finals he reverted back to ball-dominant AI, taking 160 shots in 5 games. Deke had the second highest field goal attempts in that Finals seies at 55.
No one outside Houston cares about this record. It's an incredibly misleading record inflated do to his league leading minutes & high usage due to the worst supporting cast any other Superstar has.
Seeing how last year was the first year they did the players awards, no we hadn't heard of such a thing.
To be fair, Westbrook is averaging 4.3 to Harden's 4.6. Not shocking to find the guys with the highest usg in the NBA at the top of the list. The list of guys averaging 3.0+ TOPG is littered with all stars.
Congratulations, Harden! High usage players are gonna lead the TO list. Are there any stats that identify percentage of TOs lead to points scored or live ball TOs? I'd be interested to see those stats.
Harden is close to passing Michael Jordan and Iverson for most 40+pts and 10+ assists games in a season
Harden is going to lead to the 3rd seed in the west and a 56 to 58 win season.Dont let little facts get in the way of you're anti Harden crusade.
