Harden is a part of this organization's problems. He is a bad leader and has character flaws. No doubt about his talent but I have doubts moving forward that he is the right type of guy to build around. He has coach killer written all over him just like Dwight. It's hard to be in championship contention with guys like that as the cornerstones. It's hard to take guys like Harden and Howard seriously. I think the organization needs to have a good sit down talk with Harden this off season, ask some tough question of him and see where he really is and see if it is worth trying to continue building around him. I seriously believe the team has checked out on him and Howard and no one respects either one of those two on the team. The team's actions express this as the season has gone on. That's not good. I know if I was one of Harden's teammates and he tried to tell me to hustle or play defense etc. I would tell him to go to hell. Like I've said throughout this season, this season has really exposed Harden and should have the fan base concerned about his worthiness to be the face or cornerstone of the franchise moving forward long term.
Harden still one of the lone bright spots on this team. To diminish his contributions and question his effectiveness as a basketball player is downright laughable, and typical of this ignorant fanbase. Our roster is crap, we can't hit open shots, we can't rebound, we can't play defense. There are so many zero contributing players getting minutes, its has dragged us into mediocrity.
Rockets would definitely be contenders if they didn't have Frauden dragging this team down and keeping Bickerstaff from unleashing this team's true ability.
why would they nationally televise two lottery teams this late in the season? no one wants to watch that crap.
This dude is a fraud in the biggest sense. He flails his arms in the regular season to get to the line and becomes a turtle in the post season. Look at Howard, he's not even playing well but he's much better.
Out of all the 'superstar' gaurds in the league, Harden is by far the most borign with the least athletic game. His foot speed on iso has become 38 year old Kobe level. This guy relies entirely on his off hand to create seperation. He also has become a bad finisher around the rim.
This is why all the Harden lovers need to realize he is NOT ever going to take any team to a championship! His arm flailing fouls drawing tactics Never work in the playoffs. The refs don't give him the calls they do all year.
To be fair, I wish they were consistent. I wish the didn't call them in the reg season so he can adjust... wait, Harden doesn't adjust. Adjusting requires some work ethic.
