We need to get rid of Dwight and Brewer and reset our priorities, I.e defense, with a new coach.

I'm maybe Beasley's biggest fan right now, but oh man...I mean...just...wow...this board is beyond hilarious sometimes.

Taking a break. This forum has gained a bad reputation on other boards for a reason (Reddit, Realgm)

For those who desire a playmaking PG - Teague, etc. - how do you explain the Lawson failure on offense? We know Lawson has always been a terrible defensive player, but he's as proven of a playmaker as any of these other guys & failed on offense.

Lawson's failure were largely his own - physical decline and mental weakness. He couldn't adjust to being a secondary guy and doing what was required to keep his game at an NBA level as his quickness declined. He wasn't able to adopt, he had physically declined, and he was mentally weak. You might also blame coaching to some degree. Don't be surprised if Lawson doesn't make waves in Indiana.

But just because Lawson didn't work out, it's a stretch to say it's impossible to have a PG who can playmake on this team. With the right coaching this team would absolutely benefit from a playmaker while Harden is on the bench and at times to let Harden be a spot up shooter or cutter. It needs to happen.

Morey gonna give Beasley the max this off-season after he fails to sign any other big FAs while waiting for Durant all summer.

I read somewhere that this has happen before, and when the shots are not fallin, like sooner or later... he will go on a bad streak of games, like 10 straight with out scoring after avg huge pers. so who knows, lets hope he pans out for houston when howard leaves..

Have fun.... Typical for fans to single out one sentence in a context and spin it their way.

Never thought you would do that though, JSizzle ;)

    Lolz

There was no spin. Where was the spin? You said his offense is "as good as Harden". You even went on to say that he could surpass Harden offensively. Did you not?

C'mon man. That's silly. You know that.

I'm seriously shocked at how good this guy is. I mean if he was like this with Miami. Lebron would have won 3 straight championships down there and might still be a Heat.

He plays a lot inside so he will get more shots. Maybe that's the difference.

Did you guys never watch basketball before? Beasley sucks. Blackhole on offense and terrible on defense. Even with those numbers after first 8 games his RPM is still negative on both ends. His horrendous on/off numbers tell the whole story.

Not worth wasting more time with him. He shouldn't see play in non-garbage minutes in NBA.

The Rockets were desperate for someone who could get off and make a mid-range "garbage" jumper when the offense broke down. Morey deserves credit for this signing.
