You know the Rockets is a top 10 offensive team this season and they are also a complete joke on defense?

Do you actually thought that was Marcus Camby that we are trading away when he was in his prime?

    lmao

    Dmo's timeline this season:

Back surgery almost a year ago. Rehab, missed the training camp and first quarter of the season. Came back, played 7 games, back issue again. Rehab, assigned to d-league. Cleared to play (again) just a week ago

Imagine what Morey could have gotten for D-Mo had he traded him at last year's deadline.........

We trade DMO for a **** pick and meanwhile Cavs manage to get rid of Varejao and get back Frye for a second rounder. That should tell you all.

I think for Detroit to take this deal, D Mo's gotta be close to coming back.

I'm not going to discredit Morey's draft record, he always picks late but has found serviceable players. That said no way can he top DMo.

This is one of the worst moves he could have made.

painful but for the best. getting a mid first round pick for 27 games of dmo coming back from injury and 27 games of marcus in a year where we are terrible is a win.

I hate this move. Everyone knows D-Mo's shortcomings, but he is a multi talented scorer who is a useful defender too. He will be missed, unless he is so badly hurt that there is very little chance of him recovering.

Thornton is a streaky shooter, he was useful to the team at times.

This trade really made my day.

Its more comical and fun to see the reactions here than any of the trades the Rox did in the last 5 years.

    lol

God, Morey is a bad, bad GM. He has been overrated for so long on this board.

He built a **** team for this year and is now making moves just to say he tried something. This feels like a total give-up.

Rockets biggest off-season need is a new GM.
