That's because he let his hot teammate stay hot. Thompson went off for 45 points because Curry only took 11 shots. Curry had a horrible game, but still ended up with 14 points, 9 assists, 3 steals, 1 turnover and took only 11 shots. That's a pretty good crappy game.
