How many games did he play in his 2nd season? How many minutes did he average? Terrance Jones has averaged 3 minutes more than the guy coming off back injury in the last ten games.
And he doesn't deserve those minutes....but I understand they probably want to prop up Jones' trade value a bit. Right now doing so is at the expense of the team though so I hope they change their mind.
It's going to be hard enough finding someone to take him in a trade as is, if you put him in the role he really should be in then it would be impossible to trade him and you'd be stuck with him for the rest of the season.
Like I said before. D-Mo has been pretty bad so far. He's timid on offense and not efficient in his moves when he actually gets the ball. I don't necessarily blame him when he's getting six minutes a game. That being said, the Warriors got about 8 offensive rebounds in a stretch we had Capela and Jones tandem in the game during the 3rd quarter.
When D-mo knows he's gonna get regular minutes he tends to play with much more confidence. It's a big part of why he started playing so well last year, the team was forced (they didn't choose) to play him. His play this years reminds me of his play from the first 2 years. He doesn't seem sure of himself because he knows he's not gonna get to play. If we we're benching him in favor of an effective player I would be OK with it, but we're not. The team clearly plays better when D-mo is on the floor over Jones, which is saying a lot more about Jones than D-mo.
I don't understand why Dmo fans come out at this time. The team is obviously about to be blown up, Dmo's future is uncertain. I would just be silent and wait for news. Nothing great is going to change till then. This team sucks balls and is worse than inconsistent. The time when we thought one coach hiring or one trade of role players is going to change that is officially OVER!
My 2 cents are when the team is playing well, at least the starting lineup he would have gotten more minutes to complete the 2nd unit. Now they are probably going to go to veterans and other scrub players.
