I went into season 3 thinking it was the final season. 1- rise to VP, 2 - rise to P, 3 - fall.

Instead basically nothing happened in season 3.

And I hate that they killed off the hooker - and basically that whole side plot. Instead of building momentum through the seasons the ruso subplot has slowly been killed, and is now all but dead. The hooker was one of the only people left to root for, and her death seemed so pointless. It's made the show a lot less intriguing.

 

Giving it 1 more season. It's been a fast decline after a great first season.

 

I think this will be the last season.

Seasons 1 and 2 were much better than 3 IMO also

Series drops Season 4 on March 4, 2016. Season 5 also confirmed for 2017.

 

5?!?! Man this kind of stuff really makes me respect BB. Told an amazing story without concern for length. Not an episode too long or too short, just the amount they needed to tell their piece.

 

Looks to be more Frank/Claire drama. Will watch but not pumped about it.

 

Same here. I loved the first 2 seasons enough to give them a pass for last season. Hopefully they listened to the fans and go back to what made House of Cards great.

 

Yeah I'm hoping they do too. Although while last season was not as good as the other two, I still enjoyed it overall. I think it's probably more so because I love political drama TV shows.

It's gone a bit downhill every since they got rid of the BBQ restaurant Frank went to, but I'm in. I'm still interested if Frank will get his ultimate downfall. I just don't know what they will do with a season 5 tho. Guess he becomes a Supreme Court Justice? lol

No, that's Neve Campbell (from the show Party of 5 and Scream) if you remember her. She's new to the show this year.

 

I believe that was Neve Campbell, which is every bit as implausible.

 

I'm pretty excited for Friday, but the review I just read just took me down a notch...

 

LOL same with me. My excitement was kind of ramping up in hopes that they'd rebound after Season 3, but then I started seeing reviews come in and now those hopes are gone.
