Because we can get him, Markieff and Bledsoe in one deal when activating 2k Trade Override. Only the salaries have to match, Phoenix has no choice in this.
Bledsoe, Warren and Knight are their core, unless they see getting an upgrade for either i just don't see even a point to talk about them. If they will trade for Kief don't be surprised if his flipped again.
I'm cool with that, as long as we can boost his ratings up in "edit player" after we get him, and then flip him and a late 2nd rounder for LeBron and Kyrie. Turn salary cap off though.
the only pluses with markieff are his contact, age, and midrange J. and pretty much everything else with him is a negative. but the main reason i don't trade for him is he doesn't complement DMo in any way. we need rebounding, rim protection, and man D against the LMA's/Blake's and markieff provides none of these.
Why would anyone want to downgrade from TJ or what we already have for Markief? He would be the worst PF on the team by a long shot. He sucks and is way way over paid. TJ is (and has been through out his career) a better rebounder TJ is better on offense in every single phase of the game. No not better, superior. TJ is a superior shot blocker Markief is slightly better on the defensive end with the exception of rebounding, thats it. Nothing else. Markief sucks and would be one of the all time "grass is greener" moves.
No he is not. He is not even remotely on a Morey friendly contract, He is overpaid to the tune of 8 million a year till 2019 with no team option. All guaranteed.
