Now McHale is gone he can't be blamed anymore...like Bruce Bowen on ESPN said the glaring spotlight will now be on the players

Totally agree. OK Dwight, James: you have said that you are the two foundation players on this team. Time to show the rest of these "role players" how to get it done.
I agree 100%. If you wanna salvage the season, you have to make this move now. Especially with all these patsies on the schedule between now and X-Mas. These are games you MUST win.
Magic has been pretty consistent with this POV but of course it's based on his displeasure with Dwight Howard and how it all went down with him and the Lakers. Which is a major reason why the Lakers are in the condition they find themselves today - not an NBA caliber team.
McHale is limited X-O wise, but I think as a developmental guy, he brings alot, specifically with young bigs. I could see him back in Minnesota or Philly.
Well he did just say he looks like sh-t. He actually IS offering a lot if you read between the lines. He said that JB is the "interim" coach. He said changes will continue to be made until they're winning. He said they need to turn things around now. Add it up and Morey is saying that odds are pretty good they're gonna be hiring a new head coach unless JB leads the team to a dramatic turnaround(i.e. they start doing to other teams what's been done to them). And beyond that, deals will be made if players don't respond.
With JB the defense "should" pick up you'd think...he's apparently well respected by the players too..we shall see how this reality tv show continues to unfold
