I did not understand why they chose Hartenstein over Zho. Is Hartenstein older. We lack big men and rebounding. Seems like Zhou can rebound . He is a better shooter than Hartenstein. He blocks better. He is probably more useful than MCW and Chriss. Are they just waiting to trade somebody before activating him.

We're trying to turn Hartenstein into a trade asset. And simultaneously hide Qi.

Zhou is the worst player in the league. I don't know what people see in him. Nice kid though.

Atleast we can afford to try him for a couple of minutes.

Well, even if he does play bad.. Tilman can get revenues from China and keep going TankforZion mode.

Zhou can't rebound with any confidence in the G-League. He might be able to block a shot here and there. That's not enough to earn meaningful NBA minutes. He is weaker than Hartenstein.

Zhou Qi is absolute trash. someone bet me awhile back that he'd play 1000 minutes this season which is hilarious something like a $50 tip jar bet and I haven't heard from him since. The only reason he's on our roster is because of our relationship with China. if he gains some weight like Clint Capela did, then MAYBE he has a chance, but i wouldn't bet on that either. he's probably REALLY good when he goes to LA Fitness, though.

Partially agree with tou. I think the biggest concern with him is his physicality and rebounding. Other than that I agree he could provide more things than those other names. But definitely would like to see his progress at his weaknesses, since he has some important strengths that definitely could help us.

He needs to get stronger, but if he keeps working he has unique skills.

The main thing that Zhou Qi can bring to this team is defense right now. If he makes some shots in the process, which he can, than great! But the main part of his game that is NBA ready is his rim protection. He can easily get us 3 blocks a game.

At this point really anything should be on the table to try. If you play him a little and he looks awful, just don't play him again. You're not committing to anything major just by giving him a few minutes here & there. Better than him collecting dust and clogging up a roster spot.

Because Zhou sucks. He isn't ready for NBA basketball especially for a team trying to get to .500

I just want to know where he is.

He got called up but they don’t even play him to help with the blowouts.
