    The article is good, but crazy! These guys had the world by the balls and lost it over a stupid card game and ego.

    In Crittenden's case, he went on to become a thug and is now serving 23 years for manslaughter of an innocent person. Imagine if he hadn't played that card game...maybe he'd have gone on to a mediocre NBA career and never gotten involved with gangs and drugs. Maybe that innocent woman would still be alive.

    If it weren't so tragic, it would be kinda funny. But its not.

    According to the article he had join the crips while he was a rookie in LA. Sounds like his career was going to go down the **** hole anyways.

    Then-commissioner David Stern suspended both for the rest of the season. Crittenton — who prosecutors alleged became a member of the Crips gang in Los Angeles after becoming a Laker two years earlier — never played in the NBA again.

    I guess it was not proven.
