According to Alex Kennedy from HOOPSWORLD.com:

You think he has it in him?

What? Does he not want to walk ever again past 40 years old?

If he somehow does get to at least 85% of his old legs, he'll be a star, but I doubt he'll peak at anywhere near 50%.

6th man with 14 ppg at best.

i doubt he'll play 35+ minutes per game ever again.

He'd be great in a Mutombo-esque role where he only plays sparing minutes in the regular season and takes a bigger role in the playoffs. Roy basically won a game against Dallas last year through sheer will alone

This. Don't do it Brandon! I know, you got the itch to play again...but don't do it!

If he does, role player at best, if he's lucky.

    Former Rocket Will Conroy?

I don't think Brandon should be friends with a guy named "Will Con Roy."

    God please no

Now that I know he's knees are scraping bone to bone every time he moves, i can't stand watching him him playing through the pain.

Could this be a repetition of the Darius Miles nightmare for Portland? I'd put Roy's health first but I would be delighted if that were to happen, although on second thought, it doesn't affect their cap room for this off-season.

I don't think he'll be a 6th man unless there's some kind of miracle of science I don't know about... I think he can be a role player if he can stay on the court. I'm thinking the same kind of caliber player that Jim Jackson was when he was on the Rockets. He can still play a huge role for a championship team.

Love his game, but i dont know if i could watch him hobble up and down the court 9 out of 10 games.

He will not be a star, but he will be a valueable bench player. I still question, however, if his knees will long for the long NBA season.
