"Nike will push for an overhaul once it replaces Adidas as the league’s apparel partner in 2017. Nike and the Thunder are already talking, and the Thunder “haven’t ruled out” a more explicit weather-related secondary mark, Byrnes says."

Thats what was said about the Thunder Logo. Hopefully Nike will push for a redesign for the Rockets?

Saw this under the Hawks section.

So even if we go back to a ketchup & mustard, the logo and uniforms itself are going to have to be a little bit modified from the original logo and uniforms

Jersey sales still haven't covered the initial cost I guess. DOOMED!

Honestly, after reading the logos ranked lower than us, I appreciate how original our logo is. The uniforms are terrible but our logo has the makings of something classic!

Wow crazy how Leslie thought it was synonymous with losing since we had accomplished quite something in 86, 91 and 93..funny how after only winning two titles he realised his mistake. Greedy b*stard!

That court was the most hideous thing of it all, just ridiculous. Never knew it started with Hugo and the success of the Hornets. Crazy how many times the Hornets changed their court as well, 4 times in 5 years between 92 and 97. It became more cartoony and outlandish with every change.

Yes, but it was still too damn busy/cartoonish. If they'd just simplified it a little, it could have been good. Here's the court minus the silly blast off, all the stars, and the big R logos:

    Much cleaner, IMHO.

The wwII bomber thing makes sense. The font is the real issue. That and pinstripes with outlined arms/neck.

After looking through the list with a critical eye, I realized that about 25 out of the 30 NBA logos are actually pretty bad. On the whole, I'd say NBA teams logos are WAY worse than NHL logos (my personal favorite) or NFL (really hit or miss).

    Simplicity mixed with uniqueness wins.

Most NBA logos are too busy (Timberwolves, Kings) or irrelevant (Thunder, Nets).

Rockets logo is pretty cool, don't know why people would complain about it, especially when looking at others. The Hornets, Hawks & now Bucks did an awesome job re-branding, but if you take the majority, I rather we just change our jerseys than a complete overhaul.

I actually like our current logo. Just hate the uniforms and color schemes.
