Let me check on that,maybe i am doing it wrong. If we have 59 wins, 46 loses that totals 105 less 162 games to be played.162-105= 57 Right now we have 3 games lead, which is 57-3=54 That would mean a tied, so it should be 55.
No, magic number is to WIN division so must add 1 to 162 and subtract our wins and the Angels losses OP had it right, 56
Ok, thanks, now i know why people say i go with loses instead of games behind. Our 3 game lead is more 2 game lead because is not in our hands the outcome.
It never "really" comes into play, it's a "magic number" But it's fun for some of us to track, for those who don't want to track it this "early", it's pretty easy to not click on the thread
That gets a little tough because there are so many teams chasing us for the playoffs. Right now the number would be 54 I don't want to face Price in a 1 game playoff, too risky Let's win the damn division!!!!!!!
