Tinman, If we got a couple bounces to go our way and we beat Seattle in game 7 in 93, does ya think we could have beaten Phoenix in the west finals that year and then eventually stopped Jordans threepeat in the Finals, making a threepeat of our own??

Winston Garland and Scotty Brooks aren't walking through that door... they were vital (vital) role-players on that 93 team.

Dream was playing at mvp level that year too. It was close between him and Barkley.

I believe based on how Chicago couldn't handle dream, we would have a great chance.

I loved on the documentary it showed max going toe to toe with jordan and getting in his face.

Could you imagine this today? Max would have so many techs

When the interviewer called out Cedric [Maxwell], then Horry said Vernon later was pretty funny.

    Good interview!

We needed to lose, before we won. Plus, we didn't have Cassell or Elie, yet, on the '93 team.

Couple of bounces our way? You mean fair officiating, that was the worst officiated game at the end of the 4th, which ended up costing us the game in regulation.

We matched up well with Phoenix and Chicago. To me, 93 was dream's best season. Phoenix just won more games and Barkley won MVP.

Love that he pointed out Phil Jackson's arrogance.

    "Cedric, right??"

Love how you can tell that Horry takes more pride in the Rockets rings than the other 5.

i believe we could have won in 92-93...but at the same time, if denver doesn't knock out seattle in 93-94, not sure if we would have won that year. for some reason the sonics just had our number

In 93 I sincerely believe we were the better team by the end of that series, things were shifting our way and the refs screwed us on game 7. It's hard to say what would of happened in 94, had Denver not won. In 95 if Seattle did meet us, we would have won. We were peaking in the playoffs and had Drextler. And Seattle did not play well that year. In 96 they were just the better team because we had a season full of injuries and could not bring it together. Clyde and Casell not being at a 100 percent hurt us and that was also the best Seattle team by far. 64-65 wins and really elite defense. However even though it was a sweep, we had our chances to win games 2-4. All down to the last possessions. In 97 we won and Barkley gets all the credit but that Seattle team was on a decline for sure.
