    So I guess it's clear we're going into year 16 with the ugliest uniforms in the NBA. Unreal.

    Anyone have any updates on the story that was taken down a while back about us having new jersey cuts and alternates with "Clutch City"?

    Nice.. finally some confirmation the shoulder cuts are being changed.

    You can tell by comparing this xmas uni to our regular season uni from the adidas catalog.

    Unfortunately no changes to the shorts or side paneling stripes. All that's left to be seen are any changes to NOB lettering, numbering and the two sleeved alternates that were announced.

    Just found the 2015-16 adidas NBA catalog.

    Changes listed for Rockets:
    • Page 20 shows slimmer shoulder cut and what looks to be a different number font. ROCKETS still looks the same, team announced earlier this year subtle changes would be made to ROCKETS, number, and lettering but I don't see much change here.

    • Page 38-39.. As Clutch said earlier this year, the catalog also confirms we will have a new alternate jersey, and a new pride jersey (CLUTCH CITY). Both will be sleeved probably. It also mentions the Rockets will be updating the silhouette of their main logo.

    "Updating Silhouette" is referring to the jersey cut. The main logo itself is not changing.

    Note: In catalog, all changes not yet formerly unveiled to the public are still marked as TBD. If the Rockets primary mark had any sort of changes, its usage within the t-shirts and headwear sections would've likely been labeled TBD instead of displayed.

    The idiotic shoulder cut is only part of the reason why we have the worst uniforms in the league, but at least getting rid of them is a step in the right direction. I will say that the clear lean towards the Clutch City uniforms for these playoffs is encouraging. I have a feeling we'll be seeing ketchup and mustard as our primary colors after next season.

    New cut as mentioned on the main jersey.
    We'll then have a "Stretch" uniform, Alternate 2 and "Pride" uniform. I imagine one of these will be the red/yellows, probably falls under the "Alt 2" as the "Pride" one has sleeves.

    If they only adjusted the shoulder cut that would make the sides around the armholes stick out. Hopefully that gets adjusted too.
