What are his prospects going forward?
He seems to have the fire and the temperment.
The Clippers success so far in the playoffs should help him some . . .right

    In before Rockets.

If he were to get a HC job I'd bet it would be a return to the Wizards. He was an assistant there for 5 years under Flip Saunders. Ideally he'd be on a team with a strong PG. Maybe the Lakers once the demolition is over.

He's been an assistant for awhile. Doesn't seem like he's on HC track.

Maybe because no one can understand him.

Imagine a Rockets coaching staff of Sam, Moses, Deke, Dream and Yao

Four HOFers and Sam I Am, but none of the players can really understand them when they get excited.

Sam never struck me as the head coach type of guy.

Sam was a very intelligent player and showed excellent leadership everywhere he went
I think he has the makings of a good head coach.

If Mchale can be a coach why not him?

I would even give Patrick Ewing a shot.

I also don't think Cassell is suited for the HC job, just does not have that type of personality imo.

Where's all the Battier and Chris Finch love? I thought one of those two would be coaching the team by now.
