Seems like by the end of the 4th it was a sloppy mess and james harden was unheard of in OT. It was a great game but you really gotta wonder what if lebron hit those free throws as he normally does. Just seemed we couldn't get it together at all making turnovers and getting out rebounded. Regardless great game and we showed we can hang with the best. With that said they were without Kyrie Irving but also on that same note were without howard.
Irving would have taken Love out, who had a decent game today. DH on the other end would have tighten up the middle and owned Thompson. DH is more important. Anyways, why do you also not mention the last play by LeBron in the regulation. 19 ticks on the clock, all he got was a contested long 2 off the iron, guarded nonetheless one on one by Ariza. Why are people not happy? Cleveland is not a chop liver, and our offense is predicted on Harden's ISO. What more do you want him to do? He had LeBron and their bigs eying on him on that turnover b/c everybody in the Gym knew what was going to happen. Just chill and enjoy. It's not going to get any better.
I'd be more worried about sloppy play before that...by the end, it was just ugly because of the fouls and shoving.
Lebron did a good job on Harden down the stretch, but Harden made the right passes to keep the offense going. Too bad our guys couldn't finish
I don't say this often but this is seriously a bad thread. We won and OUR OWN FANS are making excuses for the Cavs and saying how we shouldn't have won? Wtf is this?
From the thread title, it seems like the OP only watched parts of the 4th and then OT. From start to finish, it was like a playoff game.
What if Dwight had been healthy and dominating the glass? What if the Band of Brothers had not had an uncharacteristically poor game? What if Tjones and DMo did not miss the bunnies in the 4th quarter? Yada Yada Yada.
That's because in the 4th and OT LeBron was guarding James and they would send another guy out to double team him and push him out forcing Harden to pass the ball. Harden was making some nice passes to Jones, Motiejunas, and Smith but they were missing some easy shots.
