Well folks , its time for another one of my authentic articles. This one is short, because I love simplycity and because I see that you didnt read the previous one completely, so why bother writing lenghty pieces when they are nevertheless arent being read in full.

    Title:
10 non-homer reasons why I love Bill, Bull and Clyde

    Subtitle:
And wouldnt changed them for any other announcers in the world (well perhaps only for Calvin and Van Gundy and couple of others)

    1. They are relaxed
    2. They are relaxing
    3. They are cheerfull
    4. They are interesting and make me enjoy the game so much more, even when game is boring
    5. They are funny
    6. They are funny intentionaly
    7. They are funny unintentionaly - you are guaranteed a blunder night in night out
    8. They have a star power. Clyde is a star… gimme that star power over someone knowlegeable whos not been a star every day.
    9. They are wise men in general not only basketball related
    10. They are consistent - they do all these things night in night out

    If you say so.

I don't like to pile in Clyde the way most do, he just doesn't bother me that much. But I grew up on Bill and Murph. I'd love to see them partner up again. Relegate Bull to the "Craig Segar" roll, and move Clyde to the pre/half/post game show.

"Randolphs gotta realise everyone dunks on Yao" Is a line that really stood out for me growing up as a young child.

I really like Bill and Bull. I don't mind Clyde, but I don't really miss when he isn't there for road games.

We are fortunate to have them....if you don't agree just try out some of the other teams for awhile.

I wish Calvin would trade places with Clyde. and then trade places again during pre and post game. What I'm saying is I want Calvin in all the time, and Clyde out, all the time.

    I don't mind them.

    Clyde just stays stupid crap.

Bill is the worst offender to me, I can't stand when announcers mix up players.

World Peace should replace Clyde for sheer entertainment value.

Agreed, for all the flak they catch I'd say they are still top ten in the league.

    In no particular order:

    Miami
    Knicks
    GSW
    Brooklyn
    New Orleans
    Lakers
    Toronto
    Houston
    Detroit
    Boston

LAC's commentators are solid as well. Their play-by-play guy sounds like he's straight out of the 40s or 50s. Classic voice.

They are probably bottom 5 in all off NBA basketball. Watching league pass for years has only made it embarrassing to think what other viewers must think. They embarrass our team with Unprofessionalism.

Clyde certainly has a goofy tv personality, but it really doesn't bother me. That personality is sure in contrast to his playing days. Dude had such a serious demeanor like someone who wanted to posterize you from the the top of the ft line.

Clyde's homerism and his opinions are terrible. You can tell how terrible they are because bill and bull don't say anything half the time when Clyde talks.

Bull has gotten a lot better over the years, and Bill is cool. Clyde does bring up a rare professional comment because of his experience, but on the whole is very poor.

Calvin for Clyde would be just great.

I do admit, I did like Clyde when he said like clubbing baby seals.

I like how they call the games. They make it more fun. I don't want some stiff doing everything by the book.

It's why shows like Inside the NBA are so beloved. Because they ARE somewhat unprofessional and don't do everything by the book. It's the same way with Terry Bradshaw on the Fox pregame show.

I like Bullard because he calls out refs...

and Houston announcing in general is wonderful.

Bill has a great voice and Clyde is good about offering insights.

CFs are in general too critical.

At the very least they don't bash other teams like some announcers do.
