    Last 3 games for him...
25 pts, 6 rebs vs Pistons on 64% shooting
21 pts, 6 rebs vs Thunder on 62% shooting
17 pts, 4 rebs vs Wolves on 39% shooting

I would've kept him over Garcia. He would've fitted perfectly in our offense. So far on the season, he's shooting 52% (wow) from the 3 point land. I don't care if Garcia is vet... he just really really sucks. Shoulda kept Covington.

I am happy for Rob but Morey made the right call.
Garcia is great in the locker room and is a coach on the floor. He helps give use chemistry that we need more than points.

Garcia is a better defender and Defense is the priority this year.

    Very happy for him.

He's worked really hard and deserves credit.

I knew he could be a threat, but to win the rings you need a balance of defense and offense. His defense was horrible.

So when did getting points on a bad team matter? Remember how well Anderson did on that team when Rockets cut him?

Happy for him, unfortunately I do not think Mchale would have played him anyway if he stayed with the Rockets.

Points during garbage time don't count

Lol at some of you guys. Just because he plays on an absolute ***** team, doesn't take away the fact that he can shoot the 3. Im 100% positive he would give a good team a couple threes every night.

He's playing well -- better than other guys on that crappy team who were drafted into this league. I see no reason to discredit that, but eh.

When he was here, I was really excited about Covington. 6'9" with some length and quickness, plus a three point stroke. I was expecting a big year for him this year but during summer league and preseason, it never looked like it "clicked" for him.

I think he is one of those guys that needs to be the first or second option to be effective, which he is with the 76ers. But on a normal NBA team, he just isn't talented enough to be even a third option. Happy he is getting a chance to shine now though. Maybe some team will take chance on him and offer him a Jodie Meeks type contract.

Fair play to him, never discredit a guy who has had success from hard work. Hope he plays in the league a few years and gets some $$

I know it's over-discussed, but I really hate what they're doing there. That Hollis Thompson & Mbah a Moute are starting over Covington & McDaniels is criminal.
