His game is not suited for the NBA. At least with Newley he'd be capable on the defensive end.

Overall the Australian backcourt lacks shooting. Exum looks a few years away.

Holy s***, Scola is still legit! Dude's 3PT stroke looks better than any of our stretch 4's

Also this Argentine crowd is insane

Really fun and close game between Argentina and the Philippines!

LOL, these FIBA refs are such trash! There never see a moving pick!

    --------------

Game over. The last PHI posession was so predictable. They need to keep Blatche involved! He was the most talented player on the court, dude could take anyone off the dribble. Inevitably, he lost interest and displayed poor effort. Gilas basically became a team of jump shooting AB's

Not even the FIBA website has highlights of the Dominican Republic vs. New Zealand game, while they have them of all others!! Anybody who has maybe captured the game in Spanish / English?

You can rewatch it on ESPN3. I couldn't find any highlights, just individual plays. Also there was this:

    Pretty funny in retorspect :p

How about Gorgui Dieng so far? 22 PPG, 11.7 RPG. He could be a really nice player for the Wolves next season.

Team Phillipines is 100 times more fun to watch than those China National Teams that used to go to the world competitions from the Asia region over the last decade or so. Win or lose, these guys actually look like they enjoy playing basketball.

Juan Carlos Navarro. he actually played in the NBA (Memphis I think), but decided to bolt because he wasn't featured. It was very Spanoulis-like, IIRC

Also Pau is pretty damn good...Chicago fans must be salivating

Francisco Garcia with the typical Francisco Garcia reaction to the haka.

    lol

Navarro looks like he would fit great on the Rockets. Pau is beasting. Chicago has reason to be happy.

We own the rights to Llull. He comes off the bench but is very talented in his own right.

    lol

Hope to see more of him. That Gasol block on Nene was highlight worthy. If it wasn't for Nene though Brazil would be getting blown out.
