With so much attention on what Harden and Parson had said, it's refreshing to see this from Lin. Very mature.

    -.-

I guess it's better here in the Dish than the GARM?

I won't be surprise to see a lot of LIN thread during the season.

    -.-

    Lin is a classy player.

    Parsons is not.

I have a feeling now that he's out of Houston, and we won't have to be dealing with insufferable LOF's all the time, I might end up actually enjoying Jeremy Lin as a player and a person.

I agree. I actually really enjoyed watching him with the Knicks. But the insufferable LOFs here really poisoned the well. As hard as it is to root for any Laker player, I will enjoy watching him play.

Why even invite any kind of controversy by answering the question that way?

Just give them the company line: "every member of this team is important..." etc.

Yeah everyone knows Harden and Howard are the superstars, but who cares?

Forget "being real" or whatever. You don't owe the media or anyone asking anything.

this isn't the under 6s where everyone gets a participation award. Lin just said it like it is.

Harden said it like it is. People getting their panties in a knot over this PC bs. NAH DMO IS THE FRANCHISE CORNERSTONE

My point is why bother? Give them the company line.

Call it whaver, Political correctness etc.

Give reporters the most boring answers possible. You're not being paid to "tell like it is". If "telling it like it is" invites distractions and hinders your chance to win a championship, then it's not worth it.

Like I said, you don't owe the media anything. Your duty is to your teammates and your coaches.

Yeah those other guys should "suck it up" and accept being called role players...but if you're the leader, as Harden is, why put them in that position in the first place?
