The play calling for scrub has been so much betterscurb even thought his time is done he just sux. Case always seems to get the really shi**y play calling I think Kubs set Case up to fail. If Case got the same play calling as Scrub Case would have won 2 games. Case could be a really good 2nd string qb with a good coach with kubs he will never been given any chance to grow

Or maybe Case isn't good at executing the plays so they look a whole lot worse.

Lol, Jackson interfered and then "dropped" the interception for good measure.

While #Texans' Andre Johnson said Matt Schaub gave the team a spark, Wade Smith team's offense definitely runs different when Schaub's in.

Jesus man, y'all guys will do anything to try and pretend Keenum is the answer. We have two ****ty quarterbacks, deal with it.

Although I feel Keenum is not the answer, and want to draft a quaterback, Kubiak seems to not trust Keenum in a no huddle hurry up offense as evidenced by the two times he's brought in Schaub to try and win meaningless games. If Kubiak feels that Keenum hasn't learned well that's both on Keenum and Kubiak, but I would like to see Keenum in the muddle huddle first.

Case needs to find five of the biggest/tallest dummy o-linemen and a few receivers and DBs to spend this offseason practicing nothing but short and intermediate routes over said o-lineman. His accuracy and quick decision making leaves a lot to be desired, and if he wants any shot at being a long term starter he has to get better at that.

    Just. Stop.

What changed was the Jags stopped blitzing and fell into coverage to wait for 8's inevitable mistake. If folks can't see that, they need to take the Cougars goggles off.

And this is coming from a U of H grad.

The play calling may be a little different I don't know.

But Case has a major problem where he doesn't go through his progressions. The coaches have talked about it and the media who watch practice have noticed it as well. Plays break down very quickly for him. He doesn't see hot receivers and he doesn't pick up the blitz well.

I thought the cards Schaub was dealt sucked. You cut the lead to 7 then you completely abandon the run game. That's stupid and put Schaub at a disadvantage. Keenum is a risk taker, you eliminate the run game and his chances for a pick are through the rough. Schaub just sucks. Either way we lose. You let Lechler punt it every time, that's the only chance we have.

this. when Schaub is right in the head he knows when and where to throw it. Case still has a lot to learn.

It seems as though Case really doesn't diagnose the defense well. In obvious passing downs, defenses know he has a hard time dealing with the blitz. He has a quick release, strong arm to zip the passes in tight spaces, but just doesn't always know which route to throw to. When defenses are lining up and coming at him, he only has time for one look...that one look he decides based on what the defense presents. This is his flaw...he does a poor job of identifying where the whole will be and then determining the best hot route to throw to.

Now because defenses know he has a hard time with this, they blitz him more often. So Kubes calls plays for that scenario. Schaub on the other hand is actually good at diagnosing the defense and figuring which short pass to throw as he is the king of short pass or the dink and dunk pass game. So defenses adjust, and blitz less often. So the plays change again.

The other thing that makes it tough on Case is that our O-Line play has become terrible in pass pro situations. They get beat a lot and that bad play transfers to the QB. This is why if we go QB in Rnd 1 we prolly get a lineman.
