He's always been a huge Dirk fan so it's no surprise. His commentating was horrible. You can hear the excitement in his voice as the Mavs came back.
He literally yelled "YES" when Marion drained the 3.

Also I still he's a terrific color commentator, but he was atrocious tonight, commentating from a Mavs fan perspective.

A player hit a big shot. It didn't matter which side they were on.

He was commenting from the perspective of an unlikely comeback making the game exciting. Here's what was atrocious: the Rockets chucking in the 4th and expecting fouls at the buzzer.

Hubie Brown always supports the team that's down. He's a basketball fan and he likes to watch exciting games. Nothing to get riled about.

This, he's always been that way. I've heard him pull for us when we've been down.

    Agreed.

Plus, it's a basketball game. There's more emotion in close games than in a blowout.

He is one of the best. He always explain the situation in context for every play. He praised Parson and Howard all night. He is good!

I hate this ****ing guy. A lot of people have always raved about his analyzing abilities but all he ever does is jock ride the reffs + Dirk.

He rants and goes off tangent and is a senile fool.

The difference between him and JVG s that JVG tells it like it is.

    Hubie Brown sugar coats stuff.

I think most color commentators do the freak out when big shots are made. The guys wet their pants @ Westbrook's clutch 3 the other night, and then wet them x2 when Iggy made his.

Guy blatantly grabs Howard's arm on the replay-

Hubie: "Now you can see this great defensive effort as he strips the ball."

Its shameless that the guy tries to talk over the obvious replays.
