If you watch the game Sunday night, you saw that Kubiak was implementing a different offence. He was showing some creative juice, you had a split back formation using both Foster and Tate for the first 2 plays it was only after that pick 6 took the wind out did it all fall apart. Kubiak for all intense and purposes is a great offensive mind, its his personnel decision (being overly loyal/battle fighting) that have come under critique. But this season he has shown grit going for it on 4 down (tied for 4th in the NFL), willing to let Tate play during the game. It is almost as if people want to assume he is the reason why Schaub has little to no confidence anymore.
Who cares how the backfield lines up. Creative juice isn't associated with a predictable offense. From receiving on the coin flip, to the same recycled game script, to the routes, to the actual plays called on 3rd down, we've only witnessed one offensive guru and that was Kyle Shanahan.
He still doesn't do two things that every good modern offense in the NFL does. Let his QB audible and no huddle.
So you're saying after the 3rd play it all fell apart? That's pretty much at the beginning of the game. If he as a coach continues to let Matt Schaub start and he continues to do bad, he's just going to sink and be out of a job as quick as Schaub. The interview I believe at halftime says it all about Kubiak. He's way to loyal to Schaub. Tate can fumble once and he'll be benched. Schaub can throw 20 interceptions and have to work his way out of it. He needs to man up, be a coach, and treat every player the same. If they are playing bad, change it up. 13 interceptions in his last 8 Game says Alot about where Matt Schaub is. Everyone sees it. Coach apparently doesn't.
Bad decoys at that. I straight up miss the days when Kubiak would try the double reverse at least once every other game.
One play i always wanted to see Gary call was have a trick play for James Casey to throw a pass...I really believe that would have caught the defense off guard and resulted in a postive gain. But last time he tried it Chris Brown threw a pick in the endzone
Anyone who can't see the years of underachievement, misguided loyalty, and down right incompetence by now is in a catatonic state of denial or doesn't know $ hit about sports. The organization has been rife with problems since day 1.....Big Bob and his good ole boys network comes ahead of ALL. ...the hostage cris is continues.
