Picked TJones. Maybe I'm getting too hyped based on the scrimmages?

You're not getting overhyped. Jones is the real deal. Don't let the doubters sway you.

The players I listed are players that I feel may be available through trade and that the salaries of Smith, DMo, and/or TJones would be enough to trade for. That's why I picked them out. I left off a few guys like Mirza Tetelovic, Anthony Randolph, the Morris twins, 2Pat, and Scola....because there weren't enough options to include them and because the odds of re-acquiring one of those former Rockets is very, very unlikely.

JOnes was the real deal last preseason too. Put up a couple of 20 point games. And then he was the invisible man until March. In almost every interview McHale gives in regards the PF spot he puts DMo's name in front of Jones. Notice too that DMo played off the bench last season when Jones was still on it; and then DMo started. Also Dmo has improved his shot and bulked up considerably. McHale and the coaching staff like DMo in this offense b/c of his team play, movement w/out the ball, length and passing. The starting PF is DMo's to lose. Unfortunately it probably doesn't matter how well Jones plays.

Whoever can play adequate defense (it does not even have to be good defense) and hit 33%+ from beyond the arc will win the starting role.

My actual choice is Parsons, except against the huge bruising power forwards like Pau.

Donatas is the man who can spread out the defense to make room for the most dominant center today.

Also remember DMO played like **** so he was sent to the end of the bench. T Jones got a shot and also played in the playoff's. So I disagree, it is not Dmo's starting job to lose.

I pick TJones, w/ DMo backing him up. BUT I hope Covington can get minutes as well. I know he can shoot lights out being spot up, but not sure what else he can do at the NBA level. Can't wait to see.

Can't believe I'm the only one to pick Greg Smith.

He played really well at the 4 with Asik last season. Although it was only for a few games, I really felt he did a great job.

Yes I know, no outside shot but he's mobile, blocks shots and has good hands.
