Moving without the ball... it actually works.

Yep, Grizzlies have a GREAT defense but were just mauled by San Antonios offense. It was shocking.

The Spurs are the epitome of surgical precision. Combine that with Ginobili and Parker's historic abilities to act like they've been shot out of a cannon every time the defense draws near, and you have a very efficient offense.

This is why I love this game. Beautiful, fundamental, precise offenses like that.

Give it to Duncan, he looks all around patiently,

cutting and standby shooters, in triple threat position, what should he do? Morey's head explodes

The first fundamental of basketball that I learned was that every time the ball moves or players move the defense has to reset. So simple that most pro teams act like that they have never heard this. Spurs are masters of the principle.

Imagine how many rings the Spurs would have won if they had Olajuwon instead of Duncan

OP, both Magic and Bird's offenses were better, smarter and more precise than this. Adelman, Webber, Divac and Miller also we just as good if not better. Spurs got a free ride in 2003 when Webber went down with an injury in their legendary series against Dallas.

I'm conflicted on which one. I want to see the Pacers, but I don't want the Spurs to have home court, so want the Heat, too.

Spurs were 7th in offense this year. Adelman with a bunch of cast-offs including a 6'5" center who can't do anything for a 28-win Sacramento team was 4th in '10-11. Rick would have just as many rings with the Spurs as Greggory has if not more.
