Which 1st round series are you looking foward to ?

By far the most entertaining set of teams in the first round.

 

This for me too.

Outside of this and Brooklyn/Chicago (which I think will be a horribly boring 85-73 type games)

I think the rest are going to be run overs by the higher seed. (Unless stern gets involved in Laker's series).

 

knicks and celtics series is gonna be entertaining watching melo and kg go at it.

nugs and warriors should be a shoot out

and clippers vs grizzlies. both good basketball teams

 

Rockets vs OKC

Why would I care about any other series???
Plus, this one has the potential to go down to the wire every game...wishful thinking but I don't give a flip what you think.

 

I want to see Dwight Howard and the Lakers get ass rape so bad. And I want to see T mac out of the first round for the first time.

The East literally has no exciting series, imo.

 

Yeah a Rockets fan can only care about their own playoff series!

 

The Celtics beating the Knicks.

1. Knicks vs. Celtics - Obvious reasons:

- New York vs. Boston (is almost always entertaining in any sports)
- After what happened on Monday
- Melo vs. KG with whole Lala comment about her tasting like honey nut cheerios.
- Traditional division rival
- One of the more likely 7 game series where every game is down to the wire.

2. Nuggets vs. Warriors -

- Old fashion 80s shootout. 130-125, 110-112, 140-134 type games

3. Clippers vs. Grizzlies:

- Megalopolis vs. Small (town-ish) city
- Intense rivalry of sorts, brewing
- Evenly matched at most aspects of the game, except big man quality (favors Grizzlies) and point guard play (favors Clippers).
- Likeliest series to go 7.

Squash match series:
1. Heat vs. Bucks

3 game series, some posters think the Bucks will come out fighting in game 4. I doubt it, I think they pack it in after a hard fought game 3.

2. Thunder vs. Rockets

The Thunder could make short work of the Rockets, easily. Durant, Ibaka, KM, and Westbrook will be too much to handle over a series with really Harden being the only go-to option for Houston.

3.????? Lakers vs. Spurs

The Lakers will win at least one game, because of the refs (not joking). Maybe, two with Howard and Gasol being too much to overcome in few games. The Spurs will pull it out, because of depth and execution, especially if Ginobili and Parker can come back healthy.

 

I think it'll be kind of fun to watch Miami blow out Milwaukee.

 

For the first time in several years, I'm only excited about one playoff series: Rockets/Thunder. None of the others really interests me that much. I guess it's because the Rockets are involved and it makes all the other series unimportant.

The very thought of Celts/Knicks makes me bored out of my skull, but when it's on ABC this afternoon, I'll probably watch.

 

Outside of the Houston/OKC I am going to go with Heat/Bucks. Probably 4-0 but people get to Larry Sanders I hope he has a good series.

Also Grizz/Cliippers, they don't like each other.

 

OKC vs Rockets is my pick.
I honestly think y'all are underestimating the rockets. I think every game of this series comes down to the final mins..I say this turns out like 09 series vs lakers we take them 7 games but Okc gets the job done

 

Very much looking forward to Thunder-Rockets. Nuggets-Warriors should be good as well.

Hawks-Pacers also kinda intrigues me. More so than any other East series, anyway. I'm probablly the only non-Hawks/Pacers fan that feels that way, though.
