He just going to be in street clothes behind Parsons, Delfino and Anderson...we need a backup center who can score and rebound (Gortat or Mullens) rather go with Mullens since he is expiring at $ 2 million

You think Bobcats are willing to trade away one of two of their only players that are producing at the moment?

Let's just get future draft picks and roll with this roster till the end of the season.

Some Blazers fans wanted to deal Hickson to us for Jones/D-Mo/Douglas and a future 1st. I like Hickson and all, but Asik has absolutely schooled him in the post a few times.

we still have both NY second round picks from Camby trade (2014 & 2015)

send Aldrich and 2014 to Charlotte for Mullens and cash considerations

A backup center who can rebound and protect the rim would be good. Scoring isn't an issue for the Rockets, big drop off in defense once Asik leaves the game though.

Fab Melo would be a great backup for Asik and possibly a future replacement... I think the Rockets should be looking at him.

NO MULLENS. He is way too ugly for Morey to make him a Rocket.

Zaza + Morrow + our 2013 first round pick for Aldrich + Morris

Gives Hawks 5 mil in savings this year, a young center and a decent front court player who is Smith insurance.

Gives Rox a veteran backup center who is a clear upgrade of what we have now, an additional wing shooter in Morrow, and returns our lotto protected pick which no longer limits our ability to deal future picks. Also clears logjam at Pf to allow Jones/Dmo to split time. Both incoming contracts are expiring and moving marcus' gives us even more cap space in the summer.

If you're using stats to show how he has been playing well lately then why would the bobcats trade him for Aldrich?

Just because they are a bad team doesn't mean they'll trade away their only good players (compared to the rest of the team) for nothing (Aldrich).

    Just a small trade:

Why HOU does it: Increases flexibility for the offseason, gets Harden/Parsons some better backup (compared to Anderson) so their minutes can be reduced slightly. Miles is only 25 and can hit the three ball and play OK defense. Also gets Morris out of the way so that T. Jones or D. Mo can play.

Why CLE does it: Morris has higher upside, he's younger, and has more team control left than Miles. He's a better fit for their rebuilding plan.

You don't want Mullens. He may put up some decent numbers, but he is really bad. He is shooting 37% this year.

I'm not expecting him to start...give Asik his regular 30 mins and give Mullens 18 mins...Ya'll act like Aldrich is light years better than Mullens but he is not!!!!

I like the idea of acquiring Novak because he can play the stretch 4, and I think he is a player the Knicks might trade because I remember Mike Woodson said "he is a player the FANS wanted back" about his new contract. I would offer Morris. He patterns his game after Melo, so that may be a good team for him. We will probably have to throw in another player like Greg Smith and/ or a draft pick. I would be against including Delfino, Jones or Motiejunas. I don't think they would trade Copeland. They are trying to trade Brewer.

We need a someone who can grab boards and protect the paint behind Asik. Bucks signed Joel Pryzbilla for under $1 mil for one year. They have way too many bigs. So they're not gonna take up any of our PFs.

We need to make something happen for Pryzbilla.
