He was wide open for the layup, a layup over the three is the right shot every time.. Harden just had a bad game, but still put up 20/8/7. He did it all tonight except make easy layups smh..

Lin played great in the fourth quarter, if only he could bring that kind of energy and agressiveness the whole game, instead of little stretches ecery 5 games or so.

As a team we gotta make free throws that killed us, but that's nothing new. People are quick to blame that last play on Lin or that missed layup on Harden but those two led the comeback for us tonight. I'm satisfied with Lin's fourth quarter play today, if only Harden was his usual self, this game would have been ours.

 

boo..nice try though. I gotta credit Lin and discredit him. Harden had a very bad game as well.

Harden is having an really off night. The Rockets as a whole have been shooting really poorly the past few games. This kind of things really gets to his head. Harden had a few bad shooting nights like this one this year. But Harden always picked up afterwards. But tonight was a really tough night for the Rockets...

Tough Shooting night for Houston. Plus, the officials were calling some really bad calls on Houston. That charge by OJ Mayo that was called a blocking foul was a big one and because Harden's been off this game, he is just doubting himself too much and it makes things worst. But again, this is a very young team and they are having some frustrating growing pains. The Rockets just need to put some talent to help out Lin and Harden. We can't expect Harden to score 30 every night. There will be some really off nights and tonight is just another one.

 

I hate the mavs.

When your two "stars" are shooting poorly, if you're missing layups, and if you are missing free throws...how the hell are you supposed to win games?

 

Can't win when your superstar has an awful shooting night and you are playing 5 on 8 what is sad for Dallas is that we almost won with Harden playing that bad

wow this one is hard to take. That was so close!

 

Threat of the trade deadline is what usually causes the January losing streak. Don't know what's up this year, it's not like we can really make any trades.

 

Yes he did. No one gets a pass for this ****.

 

Anyone blaming this loss on a couple of plays down the stretch is missing the big picture, we lost the game by sucking in quarters 1-3.

And it's ridiculous to blame the loss on Lin, he carried the team in the 4th and was the only reason why we were in it, and that blocking foul he took should have been a charge which would have changed everything.

Let's be real here, every time Lin gets consistent screens set for him he kills it, he's shown time and time again that if he's given the opportunity to be a scoring guard with screens set for him he can give you points at the rim, but instead McHale wants Carlos Delfino, Toney Douglas, Chandler Parsons over-handling the ball.

 

True but if it was'nt for Lin getting hot Rockets would'nt even have had the chance to send it to OT. Wish Harden had made more layups and him and Lin made their damn FT's.

 

we had 2 5 game winning streaks and now we have a 5 game losing streak smh what happened to this team

 

If anything, it is the horrid free throw shooting. I don't understand what has been going in, both Lin and harden are actually really good free throw shooters, now all of a sudden they are pulling an Asik on us? God damn. My stress levels have been though the roof these past few games
