Came across this nifty stats tool online today. bah! I was hoping to see rebounding when certain players were on the bench. (Asik in particular) I would especially love to know opponents' offensive rebounding % when he's sitting vs. playing, but not sure if this would ever cover that.

Is there a legit value out there that determines the best perimeter defenders in the NBA this season?
I think Synergy is a very good tool for perimeter defenders, because it provides good stats on isolation and pick-and-roll defense. Its less helpful for team defense (so, for instance, for rating bigs who have a bigger role as help defenders). Unfortunately, although MySynergySports has lots of nice stats, it doesn't provide a way to rank players across teams.
