    nope. not 1 bit.

guys always want to prove themselves against hyped players.

the heat last year said they where tired of the jeremy lin HYPE and they wanted to end the HYPE lading up to the game.

Different style I guess but if you have someone that can shoot I rather have TD's type of defense rather than the give space and react type which is why Sampson probably went with TD. Lin does get caught helping often and seems like he has more trouble fighting screens.

I think Sampson shows extremely poor judgement in the Miami game and this Portland game. We need Mchale back, seriously. I don't think KM will be so stupid to make these two mistakes.

So no racial profanity by any of the players, none of that? Hard to believe.

The rule with TD is that you don't play him unless you absolutely have to, and you play him for longer than you absolutely have to only when he has a hot hand from 3, when the game is won, or when the game is lost.

Lin should of been in instead of Toney Douglas. Because If you look at how Lillard scored they were all mostly long balls on chandler parsons, so it wouldn't of mattered who was on lillard he would of scored.

No, but I've heard plenty at pick-up basketball games in gyms. I doubt the maturity level of players in the NBA is that much higher.

Not really. Just saying we need to decide to let be Lin the great PG that he possibly can be, or to let him go. It's a waste of his time, and the rox time.

Never underestimate the power of stupidity - case in point, @entropy.

what you think? Not as good as “Never underestimate the heart of a champion.”

Lin does get caught helping more often, but he also does a lot of good on these instances, eg steals and blocks and interrupting the flow of the opposing team's offense. Sometime it works, sometimes not, I agree.

But fighting through screens ... Lin isn't great but look closely at the game, Toney Douglas is worse. The difference, Lin recovers quite smart, Douglas, not so much.

But Douglas's offense in the OT? Dribbling the ball down court hard on the baseline, and hands it off to Harden. If he by chance gets it back, he's driving it in the lane for that floater from 7 ft out.

TD was seeing hardly any playing time while in New York and now he is our defense specialist? WTF.
