No big shockers this round of cuts. The one on Friday will be interesting. I still think the Texans will check the waiver wire and try to pick up a true fullback. Moran Norris is 34 years old and not sure if he has anything left in the tank.

I don't think it's necessarily the end for the Hitman. If Donnie Jones pulls a Matt Turk and has a punt avg 5-10yds less than his preseason numbers, they might bring him back. Anyonw know if he still has to serve his suspension tho? Seeing as he won't be on a roster and all

Bullock to IR is a bit disappointing.

Dang...wtf...Bullock to IR sucks. Spending a 5th round pick on someone and then putting them on the shelf for a year.

Bullock should have attempted the 53 yarder last night. Gotta keep testing the kid.

I think it'll still count, Hargrove was released from the Packers and they say even though he's not on anyones roster his suspension is still being served.

He was terrible on kickoffs. Texans would need to bring in another specialist just for that alone.

maybe because he had a torn groin muscle?

    Bad draft decision then...

That shouldnt have been a surprise though...you dont take a kicker in the 5th round if he's not going to immediately be helping you out. If his kick offs were going to be such a liability, then they should have figured that out beforehand. If they knew that and still selected him with a 5th rounder, then he should be on the team.

He's had groin problems all preseason. They've been reported before today. How can we say he legitimately is bad on kickoffs? I won't say because I don't know. I didn't watch him much at A&M either.

Maybe the groin really was an issue... his leg would have to be weak as hell to not be able to kick the ball off a tee into the endzone.

He had a pretty strong leg in college... and if this was a "permanent" liability, they would likely just cut him outright instead of placing him on IR.

Graham hasn't looked amazing on kickoffs to date. I wonder if they bring back Hartmann at some point to do those and punt? It probably depends on how Donnie Jones does.

He hit a 52 yarder in the preseason, so I would doubt that his groin could have been that much of an issue. Not sure why he would suck on kickoffs.

(on what made the Texans decide to look at K Randy Bullock’s leg now) “Well, he came in today and his leg was black and blue. It had been bothering him. They had been treating it. He actually took some days off last week. He only kicked one day last week and then you look at the game last night, he kicked fine. Heck, he kicked the ball off to the goal line, a yard or two deep; he makes his field goal, everything is fine. He comes in this morning and he can’t even pick his leg up and we knew we had a problem.”

Probably favored the leg more on kickoffs... clearly he couldn't go all out with every kick.

Again, if he just didn't have the leg for it when healthy, they'd cut him instead of IR'ing him.

Ha, I can see how one might be suspicious. :p

"Look at the game last night...kicked fine."
"Kicked off to the goal line, makes his field goal...everything is fine."
"Comes in this morning...can't even pick his leg up and black and blue."

    It is what it is.

I'm surprised to see Bryant Johnson, Kasey Stouddard and Brett Hartman. This move seems to confirm Trindon making the team, as the 6 receivers would be as follows:

    1. Andre
    2. Kevin
    3. Lestar
    4. Kehawn
    5. Posey
    6. Holliday

Surprised? Johnson and Studdard are terrible, and Hartman is injured and suspended.
