I'm curious do you think the USA can be the world's all-star team, and if so who would you pick for the World's team.

    PG Parker, Nash, Rubio, Dragic
    SG Ginobili, V-Span, Sefolosha
    SF Deng, Gallinari, Batum
    PF Dirk, P. Gasol, Iblockya
    C M. Gasol, Bogut

hmm the world can possibly take it with their size, defensive presence, and offensive minded big man.

    USA.

Like USA that team doesn't have years of experience together like a lot of teams in the Olympics and USA is better on paper.

    vs.

PG Paul, Rose, Rondo, D-Will, Westbrook
    SG Kobe, Durant, Wade,
    SF LeBron, Anthony
    PF Bosh, Griffin, Love, Aldridge
    C Howard, Chandler, Bynum

I think I'd take USA by a long shot.

Another thing I'd like to point out... a lot of these international teams in the Olympics have years of experience playing together. USA does not. And this world team also would not have experience playing together.

Plus, look at the starting 5's of each team:

    Parker
    Ginobili
    Deng
    Nowitzki
    Gasol

    vs.

    Paul
    Durant
    James
    Bosh
    Howard

The USA team would be better by a long shot. At least on paper.

If OP is talking about his World roster vs the current USA team right now, then it's World.

But with your USA team, I think USA would have an edge.

Regardless, the frontcourt of the World team seems really scary.

I was referring to the USA team currently playing. Watching the Argentina vs USA game left me underwhelmed at team USA and wondering if Lebron and Durant could carry them past the best the World had to offer. Also i guess the world would have the same amount of time of practice as USA does since most are in the NBA.

The thing people ignore is that world teams, are usually built to be a team.

USA rosters are redundant to an extent because so many parts overlap. So the matches are much closer than adding talent would suggest

    Where is Luis Scola?

It's easy: World team would win under FIBA rules, USA would win under NBA rules

This. Don't ever underestimate Fiba rules, team chemistry, and overall fit.

The USA would have more chemistry than that world team though?

I picked who i thought was best, your World squad can be different from mine. I thought those players selected could beat the USA team.

Wnba. No starting 5 can take on a whole association.
