WTF man! First stop trolling and second quit posting threads. Wow, IDK what game you saw but Machado was awesome. Getting the ball up court, actually running a offense, and finding the open man. Very unselfish guy.

 

Id love to see him turn into Boris Diaw. Diaw entred the league as PG now he can play and do a decent job of guarding all 5 positions.

 

Forbes does suck man he kept fumbling lol but I think Machado is wayyy better

While I do agree that Gary Forbes does suck, he has yet to play in a Rockets uniform. At least wait until the season before you start picking at him.

I kinda think he was being sarcastic when he said you were on a roll. Hate to muffle anyone's enthusiasm, but think a bit before you start a thread -- it's not just about starting a bunch because you feel like it.

Would you really want to see Royce White trying to guard a 5'9" speedster? And just because someone is an excellent passer for a PF doesn't automatically make him capable of running the point. There's more to the position than accurate passing.

I did like one pass White made yesterday when he fed someone in the post (D-Mo? Jones?) -- it was a beautiful bounce pass delivered at the perfect moment in the perfect position. I was drooling thinking about having a good post passer to feed Dwight this year.

If ORL only gets one, we don't need to play guys too hard
Terrance jones will be best player out of them all-his pick is more likely
to have the odds in his favor-lamb, and white have personality issues

I wouldn't mind that so much if they would replace Morris with Jones.

Wow, I can't believe some people are considering to put Royce at PG. That would obviously be a HUGE mismatch when the season starts. Do you think White is light-footed enough to guard the likes of Rose, Westbrook, Rondo, CP3, etc. I know he has a very good passing touch for a guy his size but his not PG material. Cmon lets be realistic here, if he was "so" good that he could be playing at PG don't you think Morey would be less aggressive in signing a PG i.e. Jeremy Lin. It's not like Mchale and Morey are stuck on two separate islands and have no communication to each other.

 

You don't have to match up quicks at PG if your big men can stop them when they penetrate. (of course you do open up the dish then)

And then you create the mismatch at the other end, the big train would just roll over the defender.

It would be unconventional but not un precedented. And it's not a full game strategy, just a change of pace.

 

He wouldn't be guarding points. Just bringing the ball up the floor like a point. He has the passing skills to do so.

 

I watched the entire SL game yesterday and TBH I thought White was one of the worse players out there. Him and Fortson just looked bad. Hoping for a better showing in tonights game.

 

And that's all a PG does? Bring the ball up court and pass to someone? I think you're underestimating what the position requires.
