We have plenty of assets, but when can we liquidate these assets??

    For 3 years i have been defending Morey. This was finally the off season that i thought Morey would be able to cash in and get a solid all star level player whether it was J Smooth from ATL or Dwight Howard. I was ready to talk shyt to all the clutchfans who doubted Morey's ability. But now i am here to eat crow. I am not sure what morey is doing with this team. No direction, no risks, just drafting BPA with every selection regardless of position.

    We draft 3 forwards in the first round? Give me a break. How many undersized PF's do we want? In retrospect i'd rather have budinger than undersized PF we drafted at 18. I am not sure what is going on in the FO of the rockets organization but this is the first time that i am extremely worried about Morey and his "play it safe" money ball ways. I for one am extremely disappointed.

    Assets usually have value, apparently ours don't, hence why we can't cash them in.

    Jeremy Lamb is a SG, btw. If you were gully enough to get excited over Marcus Morris and Courtney Lee, that's your fault. Drafting based on ceiling instead of need is the reality of the sitch and you need to deal with. Why are people so obsessed with drafting for need... it's just putting you at a disadvantage.

    McHale sadly says the Rockets plan on keeping all the players

    this has gotta be tough for Lowry and Martin(who thought they were gonna be dealt tonight)

    Its like Morey gets gunshy when its time to sign on the dotted line for a Star

    Olajuwon, lets not forget WE ALL been waiting for a very long time. Let's just see how things pan out before we jump off the cliff. If by the start of the season nothing happens, then hey jump, but I'm going be patient and hopefully things will play its course.

    If there's one (at times) very painful trait of being a rockets fan, its patience.

    I am a Morey fan. He never seems to be in any kind of hurry to convert assets into players that will have a huge impact NOW. Part of his problem is, he never wants to lose on a trade. I do wish he would start bringing us some hot players, like Gordon, Josh Smith, ... I don't want Dwight, because he looks like he will likely walk on us, but we need All-stars.
