Most. No. All of you will prob. won't know who the guy is. But he's the guy that MJ made the shot over, that you see that highlights on over and over. Well he was a Rocket before playing for the Cavs. You learn something new everyday.

Pretty much everyone born before 1990 would know that, I think.

He was a bench-warming towel-waiver for the Rockets team that lost to the Smelltics in 86, but played well for the Cavs later on.

I started watching the Rocket/NBA around 91/92, and I have no problem remembering his name. Although remembered him mostly as a Hawk though.

Similarly, did you guys know Robert Horry was a Laker before he was a Spur?

And, brace yourself for this one... but he started his career with the Rockets!!!!

    Learn somethin' new every day.

The Rockets essentially kept Conner Henry over Craig Ehlo in 1986.

Well I know who Ehlo is but that's because I downloaded a bunch of old NBA games a while back, including Jordan's career high vs. Cleveland, a game Ehlo plays in (also he's pretty well known as the guy who Jordan hit the shot over). Another guy from that Cleveland team that most will have forgotten is Mark Price, that guy was crazy good.

Are you seriously saying you thought nobody knew Craig Ehlo?

I think most older fans know of him.

Just a heads up -- ClutchFans didn't start in July of 2009.

Ehlo was the Marcus Morris of the 1985-86 Rockets... at least to young fans back then. If he was in the game, you knew it was a blowout.

Eh I'm sure a lot of the young bucks on here don't know who some of these guys are, but I'm sure the older crew are more than familiar with the names.

For you younger guys, I bet ya'll didn't know or have forgotten that Mark Price's brother, Brent Price, played for the Rockets back in the late 90's.

Haha actually I do remember Brent Price, but by the late 90's I was a huge NBA/Rockets fan so that goes without saying. Anything before the two championships is pretty spotty for me though, I was only born in 88.

This reminds me of the thread where somebody posted a vid of the Superbowl Shuffle because he never saw it before. He was roasted pretty good.

fyi, I would not tell Rockets fans/clutchfans that I assume they don't know a particular player, our fanbase and tradition runs deeper than what is perceived when reading the GARM.

I only know Ehlo, because he was a Rocket. I would never remember him as being the guy MJ scored a shot over except that he was once a Rocket.
