http://www.nba.com/2012/news/featur...rtland-trail-blazers-draft-quandry/index.html Sadly the Blazers won't have many trade-able contracts on draft night, so there are a lot of possibilties out there involving Scola or Martin. Wes Matthews + NJ pick for Lowry would work. The Blazers 1st & a TPE for Budinger & the Knicks pick (if they make the playoffs) might be an option as well. Just throwing it out there.
Draft talks ASAP! Rockets need to jump on this ASAP right when draft talks begins!!! Having a top 7 pick(top 3 goes back to NJ) in this draft could be the superstar we need. Might be able to package the pick for a higher pick. Actually I think only Anthony Davis, MKG, Drummond, and PJ3 have any superstar potential with Davis and MKG most probable of getting there or close to it.
Excellent opportunity to pick up a great pick by dangling Lowry and at the same time freeing up some cap space to sign Deron.
It's a role player deep draft class. A couple of GMs, and I think Morey was one of them, have said there's only 1 star player in this draft.
Beal would be nice. If Washington wins the lottery though, maybe we could move the Nets pick and say two of Martin, Scola & Dalembert for Rashard Lewis and the #1 pick. Rebuilding through the draft via trade if you will. A.Davis Camby G.Smith Patterson Motiejunas Parsons Bud Morris Lee Dragic Fortson Yes, please.
I would love for the rockets to get Beal! That guy has superstar written all over him! Not to mention he plays with my fav college team!
Plus, management has no interest in four rookies showing at training camp, counting Portland's own second-round pick and the one from Houston in the Camby trade that also netted Jonny Flynn and Hasheem Thabeet. What!?!?! What first round pick did they get from us in the Camby trade?
That's what I'm thinking, we probably have to take Raymond Felton or Crawford's contract in return though. But that's okay We will bring Sergio Llull back if we need a back up PG, and I'm fine with Dragic running our team anyways
