Just a question. Can we trade Kyle while he's in the hospital? Or would we have to wait until he's out before he can be traded?

With Flynn being totally useless and Lowry out of commission war kind of screwed.

We can't really trade Dragic now unless were getting a point guard in return.

Trading Lowry while he's in the hospital might be a smart move for Morey if he doesn't want basketballs thrown at him...

Clippers are looking for a SG.

Martin to Clippers for Mo Williams and a future pick.

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=3d2l3jh

They have the same number of years on their contract but we shed 3 million. We also really badly need a PG and we may even be able to stand losing Lowry if it means getting a star player back.

That makes Lowry and Scola for Gasol and another pick not seem so bad.

    Go to war with

    Williams
    Lee
    Parsons
    Patterson
    Gasol

    and bench =

    Dragic
    Dalembert
    Budinger
    Morris

A solid 9 man rotation with

Our pick, NY pick, LAL pick, LAC pick as trade bait.

I'd hate to see Lowry go but no doubt in my mind, this would make us better now and for the future.

Forget Bogut and Gasol for right now. We need a legit bonafide star here in Houston. All the real stars like Dwight and Dwill probably won't end up here. We need to get one that hasn't reached his potential yet. Evan Turner is that player Murray should be going aggressively after this trade deadline.

    1. Do NOT trade away picks unless you're getting young proven talent back in return;

    2. Be willing to trade away veterans who've already shown you their ceiling for draft picks.

This team as currently constituted is AT BEST a first round playoff team. Stop playing make believe, Les.

Eric Gordon could be traded. Ricky Rubio with his season ending ACL could be traded. Its up to the receiving team to wave the medical and accept the trade.

Two trades that really helps us in the long run:

    (I've posted this one before)
    Milwaukee/Houston
    HOU: Andrew Bogut, Stephen Jackson
MIL: Kevin Martin, Samuel Dalembert, and Chase Budinger

    OKC/ Houston
HOU: Cole Aldrich, Nazr Mohammed(Filler) and future 1st rd pick
    OKC: Luis Scola

    Roster for remainder of season:
    Dragic/ Flynn
    Lee / Jackson
    Parsons/ Morris
    Patterson/ Smith
    Hill/ Aldrich / Mohammed
    * Lowry and Bogut (out w/t injury)
    --------------------------------------------------
    Roster next season:

PG: Lowry / _Llull or lottery pick?_
SG: Jackson/ _Lee or lottery pick?_
    SF: Parsons/ Morris
    PF: Motiejunas / Patterson
    C: Bogut / Aldrich / Smith

This trade could possibly net us two lottery picks, in which we can pick a SG like Jeremy Lamb or Bradley Beal and a PG like Damian Lillard.
