I'm guessing our offense will still be run and gun like last year (McHale is focusing on conditioning A LOT).
Lin ain't the fastest PG we have. There's our problem.

Sadly the mind is a part of the body. If he can't control it then there is no point in playing.
    Agreed overall.

I think it will be less pushing the ball but more the bigs trailing and getting set in high and low post, protecting the paint, getting the ball in and out like in Yao days. More rebounding and the same slashing to the rim.

Terrence Williams could be a poor man's McGrady. His ballhandling ability and court vision are very good and he is a good defender mainly due to his plus athleticism.

Mentally is where his hurdle is at, but I don't get why McHale can't just have a talk with him and lay it down straight, tell him that he possesses all the talent to be a damn good player in the league but tell him what is holding him back (mental aspects, playing for the team etc.)

If Williams can develop into a 15 PPG, 6 RPG, 6 APG guy this season I will be very happy, that is a starting caliber SF, and if he does that we are making the Playoffs IMO.

That's awesome. Thanks a lot Clutch. That ish cray!

I like Bud, but that shouldn't be too hard to do.

Lee will never be nothing more than an average to slightly above-average role player in this league, which explains his attitude. This was on display when he shrank on the biggest stage when Orlando made the Finals and lost to LA. For the record, I actually like Lee, but he is what he is.

He's actually a good finisher whether he's taking it to the hole himself or setting up others. He has excellent court vision and passing ability as well. Not to mention the fact that he stays in excellent physical condition and based on the video, looks like his jump shot has also improved and he gives you solid d. He's already a nice athletic multi-dimensional player.

You know i'm more excited about Morrius. He has a sweet stroke. He will be a very good player in the league from the get go.

Rockets really do need to trade Kevin Martin.

    Lowry/Dragic/Lin
    Lee/Williams/Taylor
    Morris/Budinger/Parsons

We have a pretty great young backcourt.

How do you know Kevin McHale hasnt had that talk with him. As Lee said, McHale will tell you straight out what you need to do to get minutes without sugar coating it. He will make you earn you're stripes.

Yeah I just imagined every other post pertaining to T-Will having the words "squid" and "trade" associated with him for the past 6 months.

Man, Lee musta been having a really bad day, heh. We all know that man can shoot. Good to see Williams strokin it, though.

I think the most interesting/funny thing I got out of that video was seeing Williams' teammates/friends calling him "T-Will". I wonder if they were just doing it jokingly, or if that's what they actually call him. I figured that was just one of those cheesy, annoying nicknames that fans just use. I thought (and hoped) players didn't actually call themselves that.

Lee isn't a puer shooter. He's not the guy to look for to hit X in a row in practice.

And those nicknames are used just as much by players, if not more. Probably where many of them started.
