This damn recession has caused Rick Adelman to lose his self-respect and human dignity. So very sad. Working for David Kahn is one small step away from ******* **** for drugs on skid row. EDIT: To be honest, the Wolves are not totally devoid of talent: Love is a good piece, and there are several other good prospects (when you draft top 5 ever year, it's kind of hard not to have anyone with some potentials). The problem is I just don't trust David Kahn not to screw up royally with moves going forward.
Remember his stint with the Warriors? Probably not because it wasn't very memorable. I expect it will be similar to that.
Wolves have some talent, they'll end up a 8th seed in this years playoffs. You heard it first from me.
You think the Wolves can have a better record than the Rockets? Unless Morey goes on a post-lockout selling binge that empties all our veteran talent, I don't really see it.
I'm as big a fan as anyone on this board but where along the way have we been a contender the last 2 years? Unless you mean a contender to make the playoffs, which we missed both years, something over 50% of the league makes every year. Yeah, we are not contenders, let's not fool ourselves. Not without a real infusion of talent.
I don't know but im going to keep track of them and I won't be surprised if they make it close for a 7th or 8th spot......THAT good!
Adelman clearly wasn't ready to hang it up. A couple of GM's are going to regret not going after him hard. He'll make the T-Puppies relevant.
