    C: Gasol
    PF: Greg Monroe
    SF: LeBron James
    SG: Ray Allen
    PG: Aaron Brooks

How good would this team be in Phil Jackson's system??

Anyways, make some starting units you think would mesh well in the triangle offense.

He's basically my 3 pt shooter with LeBron running the offense.

Allen and Brooks draining threes all day! ;)

Well, a guard with a sort of post game is pretty useful in the triangle. Like Jordan and Kobe

You can't find a 3pt shooter who hit more than 30% of his 3s last season?

Brooks has no midrange to backup the Monroe-James' pick and roll. You think Gasol or Monroe have enough energy within them to rebound at such a high rate?:p

Can someone explain the basics of the triangle offense is? I've played basketball all of my life and heard of the triangle offense for years but never really understood what it really is.

Iso at the top of the key and two bigs on the block?

How about Nash for PG? I know he's the PnR master rather than triangle.

But he is pretty much the greatest shooting point guard of all time and has a good mid range game.

for triangle offense, the pg is essentially a spot up shooter. nash is just redundant in that offense, I don't get why you would put him there.

You get an extremely strong defensive pg who can hit open 3s. Chaunce billups was that and more but he was just so smart he would've been great when he was younger.

Lebron with his inconsistent shooting and lack of post game, bron is not an ideal candidate for the triangle.

Kevin Love would've been great. Ray Allen is good. Stephen Curry is good, there are a bunch

Lebron cannot play the triangle because he has no post games and it screws everything up and you lose a lot of flexibility because you can't inverse the triangle.

LeBron has a post game. Its just that he loves the flash and flare of being a perimeter player. There is no excuse for sucking in the post game if you are a 6'9" 240lb+ player.

Heh, Rondo is borderline useless in the triangle.
