Well, I see it the other way around. Thiago is a nice guy and a pleasure to watch, but in terms of winning, Alaba is much more important for Bayern. I hope we find a way to keep David.
We made him an offer with nice salary, he apparently verbally agreed but then sometime during Corona stopped the talks and wouldn't really tell the club why. Now last week club officials declared he told them about probably wanting to start a new chapter somewhere else. Liverpool are said to be frontrunners. With Alaba it's not as clear, he at one hand wants to be a top 3 earner at a club (slightly below 20mil) and isn't anyhow willing to negotiate below that. So he now also stated he might want to start somewhere new, but in his case it's not dead set like with Thiago, so there's at least some hope.
Don't worry, the Sheiks will always find someone they can bribe to like them. UEFA might as well bury FFP now.
Lmao, UEFA forked themselves with their 5 yr evaluation period for clubs and put forward evidence that were 7 or 8 years old. Better Call Saul! Fine for obstruction of Uefa: 10 million €
Best possible ruling for City fans. I would also expect the Kalidou transfer to go through here soon as I think he was waiting on this ruling to make sure he wouldn't miss out on Champions League Football. As a American fan during the 2011 lockout in the NFL I decided to pick a Premier League team to follow and as a fan of a small market NFL team that never really gets the big name players I looked for the opposite in my PL side and decided on City.
So frustrating that United blew another chance to take control of a CL spot. Just a poorly played game yesterday. Fernandes looked mortal and Southampton managed to completely neutralize Greenwood. Going to 10 because of the weird sub rules didn't help in the last few minutes when the game was tied up. Also, complete bulls*** City was completely let off the hook other than the fine. I thought it would be reduced to 1 yr.
A day late but super impressed with how Tierney locked Salah up. Great win and hope for next season at least... My manager, a realist
Big game for United tomorrow - if we can win this by a decent amount will make it hard for Leicster City to catch up on Sunday. GO MAN UNITED !! DD
JESUS !!! Down 1-0 to a bottom feeder team at home - on a Pogba handball - Ole better plug in that hair dryer and start getting some motivation going. AND WTF is that CRAP player Fosa - horrible doing playing over Wanbasaka? He caused the free kick and has more turnovers than a bakery. (Edit 1-1 final) Team was ****, just horrible, so many turnovers! Now need a draw or win against LC.....not feeling likely at this point. DD
