I think the liberals are going to win Civil War II faster than the first one.

A couple of dorks angrily brandishing weapons at peaceful protesters? They should be getting a friendly visit from the popo any minute now. Maybe they'll get to turn themselves in at some undetermined date/time like murdering cops do.

Luckily they weren't on Jay Z's private property causing a noise and instigating. It would have ended much worse.

"Sure we want to abolish the police. Sure people have been rioting and looting and burning buildings in our name. But why would anyone be wary of a group of strangers trespassing and surrounding their home?"

the St. Louis PD aren't going to help them, they have to fend for themselves

    wrong

There's something truly vile about mocking homeowners attempting to defend their life and property, as if they have no reason to fear for their safety when a mob of strangers enters their property. Especially given the looting/rioting/burning that has occurred in St Louis the past few weeks.

I need to know more before I offer an opinion. Were they on their property? Why were they protesting there?

Why would anyone with money to own an estate choose to live in St. Louis? The St. Louis area is a horrible combination of Midwest decay, systemic racism, white flight, police brutality and shitty food. Imagine Detroit with a dash of the Redneck Comedy Tour.

a house as beautiful as that needs guard dogs (and I'm sure they will get some after this)

absolutely stunning, and that mob of do-nothings would burn it down if they could

On another note **** the last 40 years of Republicans that have pushed for income inequality at all costs. Our country is turning into ******* South Africa with mobs of people having nothing to lose while the rich whites sit in their estates.

No releasing dogs on the crowd wouldn’t have ended well for the home owners. The crowd would have swelled and stormed.

An estate like that needs security.

    It is beautiful.

Why should two people have a home like that when St. Louis is city surrounded in poverty?

Why should poor people that have nothing give a **** about two old rich White people having a palace?

If it continues to get worse, absolutely.

Now if Trump would only stop posting white power videos, stick him thumb up his ass when Putin puts bounties on US soldiers, stop acting like there isn’t a pandemic and show concern about anything other than himself.... until that happens Trump will lose.

This is a group of people that have broken into a gated community and are marching through someone's private property. How are we ever going to progress to the real conversations if we allow the media and social media to manipulate us into not even being able to reach a consensus on something so obvious as this.

We have to be able to arrive at some common understandings on basic principles in easy to decipher situations such as this one, the George Floyd killing, the shooting of Daniel Shaver, Harding Street Raid, Philando Castille killing...

These incidents are the easy ones. These are your layups. Your no doubters....how does a conversation get going if the easy ones are a battle?

The media is playing the American people like a fiddle. They have the public eating out of the palm of their hands. Left and Right. Liberals and Conservatives. Both sides. Like little baby birds waiting to be given that worm by mama bird. Waiting each day to be told what to think about any particular situation. It's embarrassing is what it is.

Those are easy examples? Most of them were not viewed that way at the time.

When you have one group of people control the power structure, and leaders that do not address issues... and an incredible wealth disparity.... these things become more common.

I don’t blame the home owner to be out there and scared... I would do the same if crowds of protester came on my property. However I hope the wealthy and powerful come out of all of this a little scared.... the poor in the US are so docile... it is taken for granted.... those homeowners and those in power need to realize in the back of their head that if it gets bad enough the masses can drag them out of their homes.

The type of inequality we have in this country has become dangerous... fix it or risk having a crowd drag you from your collective homes.
