A lot of these people are clearly organized agitators. They're either radical left-wing, too stupid to realize they cause more harm than good, or, very likely, 4chan right-wing dips***s ready to spring to action to deliberately put a criminal face on the protesters.

Let's not over-generalize. Obviously protesters' emotions are going to boil over and unfortunately crimes are going to occur. Today on the news they were calling for an end to the violence, for individuals not to go all Reginald-Denny on property and lives. However, you do have organized groups deliberately whipping up a frenzy here and there. With such friends, you need no enemies.

The last part is the most reasonable. 99.9% of humans that aren't a part of these communties have the basic amount of self awareness that rioting and looting would not help their activism. It's such a obviously bad thing to do that the only people who would engage would be people who want to descredit the activism of the peaceful protests.
