Adelman ball when the O is flowing is a beautiful thing.

That was a high octane lineup with Porter, Drexler, Kersey, Buck Williams, and Duckworth, and Cliff Robinson off the bench. And they could play defense. (It's a myth Adelman's teams didn't play defense.)

    Terry Porter was so underrated.

Longer and taller than MJ at 6'7. Wade only 6'4.

Whoa. This would have been an unbeatable team.

    Hakeem - MJ - Clyde

The MJ-less options would have been pretty sick too:

    Dream-Clyde-Stockton
    Dream-Clyde-Chuck (least favorite)

Drexler similar to kawhi Leonard numbers in the 1992 finals.

A rough estimate of Clyde drexler numbers in 1992 finals was 8 rebounds a game for sure, and 25 points per game game average.

I guess you can say Chris Bosh type numbers going up against Jordan in 1992.

Stern would find a way to crush the Rockets like he did in 86. Jordan would have been suspended for life for gambling. Olajuwon may have been suspended for fighting. Stern knows where the skeletons are buried.

If Clyde Drexler was alive today, where would he among today's NBA players?

Clyde drexler might be like ben Simmons. Maybe it's other way around where Simmons has patterned after drexler. Drexler filled the lane at any means.

Danny ainge found his way into the mix. People forget ainge was on that 92 blazers team.

That 92 Blazers team had 7 players that averaged between 9.7 and 25 ppg. They were so good.

Adelman D was like his O with a lot of motion and switching. It was a lot like what we see with teams today including the D'Antoni Rockets.

I'm going to derail my own thread a bit.

A lot of people forget how good Clyde was but a lot of people also forget how good Rick Adelman was. It's very unfortunate he never got a ring and there is plenty of evidence he got screwed in 1992 and 2000.

I would still take Clyde over both those guys.

I would take Clyde over all these other guys they have ranked higher than Clyde:

TMac, Vince Carter, Reggie Miller, Human highlight

Sad to see Clyde not part of top 50 ever. In 30 years, people won't even remember Clyde and won't even be top 100

Haven't seen list but only people worthy of being ahead of drexler are dr j and maybe George gervin from the "big 3" league.

It's even more unfortunate we couldn't keep him.

Harden is listed as #32 overall. Greek freak is higher than Harden.

Chris Paul is #40, higher than WB

    Dwaye Wade #28.

So looks like they ranked everyone just based on how many Championship you won, not regular season because Kwahii Leory is ranked #25 and he ain't done much in regular season compared to Harden
