This is a guy that plays ball to get in shape. Now he can't play basketball and has to stay at home for at least 2 months. He can't even burn calories by going to strip clubs.

Are you all worried about James Harden's weight once the season resumes?

The fat may help him. Charles Barkley was fat.

did he look out of shape the first half of the season when he was dropping 40 a night? I expect that harden when the NBA comes back. It might be the best playoffs in recent memory with everyone coming back healthy and rested.

Harden strip club jokes were played out and not funny back in like 2017

Why do people still use them?

How many times every season do you get BR updates of James Harden putting up shots in an empty gym after a loss?

I bet he's putting up shots right now. James Harden will come back in great shape with rested legs.

I wouldn't worry about Harden. Harden is a first half NBA season player, and Westbrook is a second half NBA season player. The rest will be worse for Westbrook since he was at his prime basketball playing when the NBA season was postpone. Harden plays best after a long break. I'm more worried about Westbrook being cold when the games resume. We need Westbrook's driving game to make the Finals.

Harden getting a lot of rest and he's going to tear up the league scoring 40 points every night when the league returns!

No worries about burnt out this year with all the extra rest.

the break might be the best thing to happen to harden. it could honestly add an extra year onto his career.

I’m happy he’ll get the rest he needs for his numerous nagging injuries. Westbrook too; the more time he gets to rehab the hand, the better it is for us.

He definitely looks slower than past seasons. His body shape looks like the McHale fire season.

I think there is the theory of rust vs rest.

While rest is always good, rust can knock you off your daily routine and lead to injuries in practice once that picks up.
